Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Land Development Senior Project Manager to take a leading role in managing client relationships, delivering complex projects, and supporting the continued growth of Quiddity’s Central Texas practice.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, with a strong focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships, understanding client needs, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations. This individual will have significant visibility with clients and internal leadership and will play an important role in growing Quiddity’s residential land development presence in the San Antonio and New Braunfels markets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary client contact and build strong, long-term relationships with developers, builders, municipalities, and other key stakeholders
  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of residential and mixed-use land development projects from initial concept through construction
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and overall client expectations while ensuring high-quality project delivery
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client relationships
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, proposals, interviews, and other business development activities
  • Develop a strong understanding of client goals and provide strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary project team, including PEs, EITs, CAD professionals, and project administrative staff
  • Coordinate with internal teams and leadership to ensure projects are properly staffed, resourced, and positioned for success
  • Support the growth of Quiddity’s Central Texas land development practice through client development, market relationships, and strategic project pursuits
  • Represent Quiddity in the marketplace and actively contribute to the firm's reputation and continued growth

Qualifications

  • Civil Engineer with a Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • 9+ years of experience managing residential land development projects; commercial land development experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Experience managing projects from planning and design through construction
  • Demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and developing project team members
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scope, schedules, and client expectations
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Business development experience or a demonstrated interest in growing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities
  • Client-focused leader with a reputation for integrity, teamwork, responsiveness, and delivering quality results
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams and firm leadership
